Library Policies

Print fiction and non-fiction materials are available for circulation for a 21 day period.

Students may extend their loan period by coming to the library and renewing their material before or on the due date to avoid a fine.

Books and other print materials that are designated as REFERENCE or PERIODICAL are available for overnight circulation only.

E-Books and audiobook (available through SORA) materials are avaible for circulation for a 14 day period.

If students would like to extand their loan period they must renew the material in SORA 3 days PROIR to the due date.

There is a three day grace period for overdue materials. If a student holds onto that book for longer than those three days, then a $0.05 fine will be added to the student's account each day until the book is returned.

If a book is lost, the student will be responsible for paying for the replacement of the book.

If the lost book is found and returned in good condition prior to the end of the school year, then the replacement fee is returned.

In the case of a damaged book, it is the student's responsibility to tell/show Miss Holmes or Mrs. Etter so that the book can be repaired.
